We have a great oppotunity for and Admin Co-ordinator to become part of the NERCP team.

The aim of this position is to temporarily provide administrative support to one of NCAC’s largest programmes the North East Retail Crime Partnership (NERCP).

Duration: 6 months

Salary: £18,000 pro rata

Hours: 21 hours per week 


Key Performance Areas:

  1. Effective organisation of general admin for the NERCP operation
  2. Effective communication with the team and service users
  3. Efficient and compliant processing of data


The following duties will be undertaken as part of this role:

  • Ensuring that the office is well maintained, organised and secure
  • Maintaining databases and processes
  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and make suggestions to the NERCP manager for improvement
  • Answer customer queries and manage their expectations
  • Take and produce minutes of internal and external meetings
  • Arrange meetings with external partners and members, booking venues etc
  • Make travel arrangements for members of the NERCP team
  • Co-ordinate the postal process including outgoing and incoming
  • Co-ordinate the stationery process, taking stock and ordering when required


The successful candidate will have the following:

- Minimum of level 3 Business Admin qualification or equivalent experience
- An excellent understanding of all Microsoft programmes
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Self motivated and driven with the ability to work unsupervised
- Have the ability and temperament to work under pressure in an often hectic environment

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have experience working with or in retail and or crime prevention.
